Pronouns she/her. I’m based in Redwood City, CA, right in the heart of the SF Bay Area. I’m a mother of two teenagers, a homeschooling parent, a former Montessori educator, and a photography enthusiast. After spending the past 18 years nurturing my own children, I’m ready to expand out and help other parents and their babies.

I bring my cumulative life experiences of years working with babies and young children, including nursing and mothering my own, to provide a nurturing and reassuring presence for you as you navigate this new phase of your life.

The best compliment I have consistently received is that I have a calm, soothing presence that helps people feel at ease. Let me be that for you, as your postpartum doula.

Testimonials

“I have known Marcy for over a decade and can enthusiastically recommend her as a postpartum doula. Marcy is one of the most patient, gentle and non-judgmental people I have met, and carries that gentle energy into her work with new parents. Becoming a parent, whether for the first time or with subsequent children, is an incredible experience, and one that can feel overwhelming, intense and uncertain. Having Marcy tending to your post-partum needs provides a sense of comfort and supportive guidance. It is a wonderful gift to give yourself to work with Marcy during this tender stage of parenting.”

“Marcy was super helpful with my infant and supported us both while he was dealing with a lot of pain from reflux. She was kind & took on any task I needed help with. It was a very challenging time & having her to help made such a difference.”

  • Renee W

“Marcy was kind, reliable, and gentle with our baby. She was always respectful of our preferences and followed our instructions, which we appreciated as first-time parents.

She was punctual, easy to communicate with, and professional throughout. We especially appreciated that she proactively let us know when someone in her household was sick so we could make an informed decision about scheduling.

We're thankful for her support during those early newborn weeks!”
